Jennifer Aniston was spotted while being out for a work event for the first time since Matthew Perry’s death. Her appearance has had people talking, claiming that grieving makes one look older.
Jennifer Aniston attended an event in West Hollywood to celebrate her hit TV series “The Morning Show.” The show recently received six nominations at the Critics’ Choice Awards.
Aniston wore a black strapless jumpsuit for the event and was seen leaving the event venue with her co-star, Holland Taylor. The celebration took place at San Vincente Bungalows, an elite private club.
Although the former “Friends” star looked chic in her all-black outfit, fans couldn’t help but notice her face. Her makeup didn’t hide the wrinkles forming around her face and the eyebags under her eyes.
“Grieving ages you so much. It really looks like she aged 10 years after her dad‘s and Matthew Perry’s death,” one fan commented. “I can’t stand her one pained expression. Lighten up,” noted another.
Other people weren’t as friendly with their comments. They slammed the actress for her alleged plastic surgery procedures and felt she was aging quicker than usual.
“I hope she stops messing with her face. She’s looking weird,” said a user. “I would have liked to see her without the face tweaks. She was always attractive,” added a fan.
Aniston’s loyal fan base went through the harsh comments and defended the actress. “If they age naturally they don’t get the work and get ripped apart for looking old. Can’t win as a woman in Hollyweird,” someone shared.
Despite mourning the loss of her dear friend Matthew Perry, Aniston has had to go back to work for “The Morning Show.” Aside from her recent evening sighting, she also had to attend a Q&A onstage alongside Reese Witherspoon and Jon Hamm.
It was reported that at Perry’s funeral, Aniston kept to herself. She struggled with saying goodbye to Perry, whom she spent a decade with on the hit series “Friends.”
