Sad news about beloved actor Jeff Bridges

The Academy Award winner informed his followers of his lymphoma diagnosis. But before immunizations were available, Jeff tested positive for COVID-19 shortly after receiving the happy news from the doctors that his chemotherapy was working.

Jeff exclusively revealed to E! News, “The chemo wipes off your immune system, and when COVID attacked me, I had nothing to fight it.” “I was just so close to passing out a few times there,”

The 72-year-old worried whether he would ever get the chance to work on the big or small screen again after his health scare, which led to his being in the hospital for more than four months. Additionally, he worried that he wouldn’t be able to accompany his 36-year-old daughter Haley down the aisle.

“Jeff, you gotta fight,” the doctors told me, “I remember that,” he recalled. “What they were discussing eluded me. I noticed that I was in surrender mode. My family, an excellent medical team, and excellent trainers all worked together to bring me back.”

Jeff is thankful for his family, which includes his longterm wife Susan Geston, even though he is back at work filming the FX drama The Old Man. The pair has been married since 1977, and as Jeff fought for his life, their love story only grew more intense. The Crazy Heart actor actually doesn’t think twice to refer to his wife as “the love of my life.”

“How fortunate are we, I thought to myself as Sue and I were looking at each other. I give the girl a hug and feel renewed. It’s nearby and easily accessible “explained Jeff. “I’m paying attention to the things that are right in front of me, like love, my family, and everything else that is at my disposal. I’m really really enjoying this simple fact that we all take for granted and live with every day.”

With three daughters and three grandchildren to complete his family, Jeff is devoted to maintaining good health and spreading the word about his fight while he is still in remission.

After speaking with medical professionals, Jeff stated, “While the option to boost my antibodies to protect me from COVID-19 wasn’t around when I was going through cancer treatment, it is today. “I quickly increased my antibodies. I now have more confidence to resume my favorite activities.”

Jeff is making an effort to find the good in what can only be regarded as a frightening situation, despite the fact that his fight with cancer and COVID-19 was difficult to say the least.

So frequently, he added, we overlook things that are there in front of us. But as it turns out, that encounter had a lot of great effects on my life.
