After some people suggested that the model was playing a practical joke on her followers, Ireland allegedly tweeted a picture of the actual pregnancy test. “It’s not a dog lol,” Ireland wrote as the post’s caption.
Family members rejoiced over the pregnancy announcement, including Ireland’s well-known parents, Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger. Alec Baldwin and his children congratulated Ireland in a post that Hilaria Baldwin, who is now married to him, published on social media. Even one of their children commented, “You’re going to be a grandfather,” pointing to Alec.
Basinger posted a picture of her sonogram and Ireland’s sonogram side by side on Instagram. She described how her life had come full circle and how she had teased her doctor about getting a puppy. She stated: “I could have sworn @irelandirelandireland was having a Beagle this last weekend when I glanced at her most recent sonogram, 27 years later! Like mother, like daughter… and we’re expecting a new baby girl. I can’t wait to meet this young Snoopy in June.”

Ireland made a hint about how this would impact her desire to establish a family. I grew up with a pretty jaded picture of what true love looked like, and I always wanted to have my own children with someone who would treat us well and love us wholeheartedly, she added.
Even with the backing of her musician boyfriend, Andre Anjos from Portugal, the model hasn’t had it easy. She revealed, “Although Andre is everything to me, moving without family can be challenging. Being distant from family members who I don’t want to associate with or who live far away is difficult.” Ireland bravely continued to discuss her hardships without ever addressing the person to whom that remark was made. In her caption, Ireland stated: “Being both pleased and sad at the same moment is acceptable. I’m appreciative, but I’m also struggling, and that’s totally fine.”
