Lisa Marie suffered a heart arrest at her home in California on the 12th of January, which ultimately led to her death.
Riley Keough, the heartbroken daughter of Isa Marie Presley, has broken her silence in response to the news of her mother’s passing.
The actress sent a heartfelt statement on Instagram, in which she included a stunning throwback photo of herself with her mother, who had passed away.
She merely added a red heart emoji in response to the many comments that were being left by admirers and loved ones who wrote: “I am sending you and your family love and prayers as you grieve the loss of your beautiful mother, @rileykeough,” and “I am very sorry, this is such a tragic loss. I am thinking about you and your family and sending you lots of love and strength.”
Lisa Marie suffered a heart attack at her home in Calabasas, which ultimately led to her passing at the age of 54.
The celebrity was transported to the hospital beside her mother, Priscilla Presley, and was placed in an induced coma and given a temporary pacemaker. However, an emotionally distraught Priscilla Presley confirmed her passing a few hours later.
Priscilla, Lisa Marie’s mother, revealed the tragic news that her beautiful daughter had passed away in a statement. “It is with a heavy heart that I must convey the heartbreaking news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us,” she said.
“She was the most loving, passionate, and strong lady I have ever known. I will never forget her. As we struggle to come to terms with the magnitude of this loss, we respectfully request privacy. I am grateful for the love and prayers that have been sent. There are going to be no further comments made at this time.”
Lisa’s three children, Riley, Finley, and Harper, are the legacy she leaves behind. She and musician Danny Keough were the parents of Riley and her late son Benjamin, who unfortunately passed away at the age of 28 from suicide in 2020.
Michael Lockwood was the father of the celebrity’s twin children, Finley and Harper, who are now 14 years old. Lisa and Michael were married for a total of ten years, beginning in 2006 and ending in 2016.
