While a marriage can happen in an instant when a couple decides to elope, a divorce sometimes takes a lot longer.
Back in 2014, WWE wrestling star Eva Marie, whose full name is Natalie Eva Marie Nelson, surprised everyone by eloping. She shared the news on her reality show “Total Divas,” announcing that she was “officially married.”
While her marriage to Jonathan Coyle was a surprise, ten years later, it seems that the marriage has crumbled. TMZ reports that according to court documents, Eva Marie has filed for divorce. She stated that she and her ex have been separated since 2023, and she cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the split.
Although they have allegedly been split up for over a year, you wouldn’t know it to look at Eva Marie’s social media. In July 2024, she posted a series of pictures and videos on Instagram where she and Coyle look perfectly happy as they test out guns at the Frisco Gun Club.
Even more recently, in November 2024, she posted two photos with Coyle promoting Transcend Peptides.
While it’s unclear what exactly went wrong between the couple, it seems clear that Eva Marie wants to be officially divorced.

Besides being a former WWE superstar, Eva Marie also appeared on the show “Celebrity Big Brother.”
According to Slam Wrestling, Coyle is a model, fitness coach and co-owner of the fashion brand NEMfashion along with Eva Marie.
