“Duck Dynasty” star Uncle Si Robertson’ family breaks the news

The operation on Si Robertson’s lungs has been finished, and in an update he provided, the Duck Dynasty actor stated that everything went as expected during the procedure.

On Thursday (September 8), Robertson took to social media to share a snapshot of himself in the hospital with his followers and provide an update on his condition following surgery.

“The physician reports that the operation was a success. Jack, I’m ready to get back to work on this!” Robertson pens a letter, in which he tells fans: “I want to thank everyone for their support and prayers. It is quite important to both of us.”

After suffering from a variety of health problems over the course of the past few years, Si Robertson was scheduled to undergo surgery. Robertson has suggested that smoking is to blame for some of the issues he has been having with his lungs and breathing in episodes of his podcast, Duck Call Room. He also suffers from COPD. These problems become even more severe after a diagnosis of COVID-19 in the year 2021.

In an edition of the podcast that was released in June 2022, the 74-year-old man, who is affectionately known as “Uncle Si” by his family and admirers, revealed that he had been given approval for surgery. He added that the surgery would insert valves that would repair a problem that was related to a lung that was underperforming when he would exhale. The problem was that he was having trouble breathing out.

“In Houston, I was examined for a few things. Even if there are a few more steps that need to be taken, it seems as though I will be cleared for lung surgery “he went into specifics at the time. “At that point, I’ll be able to fill your ears to bursting with even more tales, all of which are guaranteed to be 95% accurate!”

He maintained his word, and the reality star’s most recent post was hailed with congratulatory messages from fans.

Co-host of the Duck Call Room and General Manager of Duck Commander, Justin Martin, penned the following: “Reappear in this place! We got podcasts to do! Praying for you old man. We adore ya!”

Willie Robertson’s wife, Korie, also expressed her affection through the use of emojis, including a heart, hands raised in prayer, and hands raised in happiness.

In the most recent episode of Duck Call Room, which was filmed before Robertson’s operation, Robertson provides additional details regarding the procedure.
