Donald Trump Faces Yet Another Wave of Unbelievable Rumors
Once again, social media is buzzing with speculation about Donald Trumpโs most recent public appearance. The 79-year-old President recently emerged from the White House after a few days away from the public eye, stirring curiosity and chatter about his health.
A familiar face to strange rumors, Trump has previously had to deny bizarre claims, such as those involving body doubles for his wife, Melania Trump. Now, the online discussions on X (formerly Twitter) have turned to his own well-being with some alluding that his health is in question, or even going as far as to suggest he might not be alive.
Following Trump’s call to reporters to join him in the Oval Office on September 2, after being absent from public view for a few days, photos of him have led to more discussions. A close-up shot of his face led one user on X to comment, “Maybe itโs just me, but that doesnโt look like Trump at all.”
Another person humorously suggested, “Lol thatโs not Trump, thatโs his stunt double,” and a third added with concern, “Okay maybe he is dying.”
These arenโt the first times such theories about a body double have surfaced. Back in June, during a NATO summit in the Netherlands, Trump’s appearance in a group photo raised eyebrows. Standing next to other world leaders, he appeared shorter than usual, sparking online comments.
Commenters noted, “Obviously not the real one. Not tall enough. Loved the people noting heโs in multiple places at once.” Others questioned his sudden change in height with remarks like, “Thatโฆ that is not Trump,” and “When I saw a video from earlier today I was wondering why he was so much shorter.”
Despite these speculations, logical explanations exist for Trump’s appearance. For years he’s been listed as 6 feet 3 inches, with a weight of 224 pounds during his annual check-up. In some photos, Trump is next to King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands and Turkey’s President Recep Tayyip Erdoฤan, both notably tall men. Trump does look slightly shorter than Willem-Alexander and only a tad taller than Erdoฤan.
Possibly, Trump is standing as his usual self, just alongside tall individuals, making him seem less towering. Sceptics of the body double theory suggest that changes in posture or footwear might subtly alter his apparent height.
Reaffirming his robust health, Trump took to Truth Social, stating: “NEVER FELT BETTER IN MY LIFE.” He humorously added, “DC IS A CRIME FREE ZONE! President DJT” in response to supporters questioning media biases regarding presidential absences.
A supportive MAGA follower remarked on the perceived double standards, noting, “Joe Biden would go multiple days without public appearances and the media would call him โsharpโ. Meanwhile, Trump constantly works hard and receives scrutiny after a brief absence. Such a comedic double standard.”
Adding to the narrative, Vice-President JD Vance commented to USA Today he’d be ready to take over if needed. “Iโve gained a lot of experience over the past 200 days, but the president’s health is fantastic. He has incredible energy,” Vance noted.
“Most people around the president are younger, yet he’s the last to sleep and the first up in the morning, leading calls at both ends of the day,” Vance added, reinforcing the notion of Trump’s robust energy and dedication.
