Last year, King Charles shared that he was diagnosed with cancer and has been receiving top medical care ever since.

The exact type of cancer the 76-year-old monarch has is not publicly known, but he has been open about his treatment experiences.
Interestingly, King Charles isn’t the only royal who opened up about a cancer battle last year.
Back in March 2024, Kate Middleton also revealed her own cancer diagnosis, which she addressed in a rare public statement.
Recently, social media was abuzz with rumors of King Charles’ supposed death, creating a flurry of searches like ‘king dead,’ ‘is king charles dead,’ and ‘is king charles still alive.’
Over 20,000 individuals searched about King Charles in just the past day, with TikTok users also spreading speculation on his death.
This surge in interest came when folks noticed flags at half-mast throughout the UK on Friday, October 3.

Lowering flags to half-mast is a sign of respect traditionally reserved for recently deceased royal family members.
This protocol was observed just last month when the Duchess of Kent passed away.
However, it’s important to note that this time, flags were flown at half-mast due to a terror attack in Manchester on Thursday, October 2.
The government issued a statement: “Flags will be flown at half mast on UK government buildings until 20:00 on Friday 3 October 2025.”
Buckingham Palace issued a brief comment addressing the unsettling rumors about King Charles.

A palace spokesperson mentioned, “We would not comment on rumour or speculation of this sort.”
While King Charles’ public calendar shows no upcoming engagements or visits, rumors can quickly spiral.
Yet, in contrast to the quiet schedule, a new press release confirmed that The King and Queen plan a state visit to the Holy See in late October 2025.
This visit will involve celebrating the 2025 Jubilee Year alongside His Holiness Pope Leo XIV.
