In a touching update, Ashley Biden, daughter of Joe Biden, shared news about her father’s ongoing battle with cancer from the hospital.

Earlier this year in May, Joe Biden, the beloved former President, opened up about his struggle with an aggressive type of prostate cancer. This revelation came after he reported facing urinary issues, leading his doctors to discover a small nodule on his prostate.
A statement from Biden’s office detailed: “Last week, President Joe Biden sought medical attention for new symptoms related to his prostate. Upon examination, a prostate nodule was found, and he was diagnosed with prostate cancer.”
The report continued, “The cancer is characterized by a high Gleason score of 9, indicating a Grade Group 5 with metastasis to the bone. Despite its advanced nature, it’s hormone-sensitive, allowing for a more effective management plan.”

Biden’s team recently shared an encouraging update about his treatment. He is actively receiving radiation therapy combined with hormone treatment as part of his comprehensive care plan.
The spokesperson confirmed: “President Biden is undergoing radiation and hormone therapy to manage his prostate cancer. The sensitivity of the cancer to hormone treatment is advantageous for effective management.”
Ashley Biden provided an inside glimpse from the hospital in Philadelphia, where her father recently completed a round of radiation therapy.

On Instagram, Ashley shared a heartfelt video showing her father ringing the bell at Penn Medicine Radiation Oncology, a gesture symbolizing the completion of this phase of treatment. Her post, shared with her nearly 29,000 followers, read: “Rung the Bell! Immense gratitude to the amazing doctors, nurses, and staff at Penn Medicine. We are profoundly thankful!”
In another touching photo, Biden stood with his family, with Ashley expressing her admiration: “Dad has shown unparalleled bravery throughout his treatment. Grateful for this strength.”
Reflecting on his journey earlier this year, Biden stated openly, “My treatment involves medication, beginning with one pill daily for six weeks. The outlook is positive, and I’ve been progressing well. I feel good about the future.”
Let’s continue to send our thoughts, prayers, and strength to former President Biden on his road to recovery.
