Former White House Doctor Raises Concerns About Trump’s Health

For several months now, the health of President Trump has been a topic of conversation. At the age of 79, Donald Trump recently went to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center to have an MRI. His doctor declared him to be in perfect health, yet not everyone is convinced. Former White House doctor, Jeffrey Kuhlman, has expressed his doubts.

It came as a surprise to many last month when it was reported that Donald Trump had visited the Walter Reed Military Medical Center for an MRI scan.

On October 10th, Trump’s physician, Sean Barbabella, issued a memo. This memo stated that the president took part in ‘advanced imaging, laboratory testing, and preventive health assessments.’

Dr. Barbabella added that ‘comprehensive laboratory studies associated with the visit were exceptional, including stable metabolic, hematologic, and cardiac parameters.’

He also noted that Trump received his yearly flu vaccination and an updated COVID-19 booster. ‘President Trump continues to demonstrate excellent overall health,’ wrote Barbabella. ‘His cardiac ageโ€”a validated measure of cardiovascular vitality via ECGโ€”was found to be approximately 14 years younger than his chronological age.’

While traveling on Air Force One, Trump provided comments regarding his medical visit.

Donald Trump’s Health Update

‘I’ve given you the full results,’ Trump told reporters aboard Air Force One en route to Japan. ‘We had an MRI, MRI and the machine, you know, the whole thing, and it was perfect.’

Trump elaborated, ‘I think they gave you a very conclusive reportโ€”nobody has ever given you reports like Iโ€™ve given you. If I didnโ€™t think it was going to be good, I wouldnโ€™t run, Iโ€™d do something else. The doctors said itโ€™s some of the best reports for my age, the best theyโ€™ve ever seen.’

As one of the oldest presidents in the history of the United States, Trump did not disclose the specific reason for the MRI. MRI scans use strong magnetic fields to produce images of the interior of a patientโ€™s body and can reveal a variety of conditions.

However, while President Trump and the White House claimed the medical visit was routine, not everyone sees it that way.

Former White House doctor Jeffrey Kuhlman, who served as the White House physician for Presidents Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barack Obama, shared his views with The Hill regarding Trump’s recent visit to Walter Reed Military Medical Center.

Ex-White House Doctor Flags Major Concern

In Jeffrey Kuhlman’s opinion, the president might be keeping something under wraps. He raised questions about the need for an MRI when certain tests could have been done at the White House in merely 15 minutes.

‘The helicopter ride from the South Lawn to Walter Reed takes about eight minutes. So, he had at least four hours for medical care,’ Kuhlman declared to The Hill. ‘Thereโ€™s a discrepancy with this timeline.’
