Top Psychologist Highlights Concerns About Trump’s Mental Health

Donald Trump has always been known for his unique approach. However, many have observed that his unpredictable actions have become more pronounced, especially on social media. A renowned psychologist has now expressed serious concerns regarding Trumpโ€™s mental health, suggesting it could be linked to a disorder exacerbated by dementia.

The mental state of Donald Trump has become a significant topic of conversation lately, especially following an MRI he underwent at Walter Reed Medical Center in October.

Dr. Sean Barbabella, the physician from the White House, issued a statement saying that President Trump underwent comprehensive imaging, laboratory tests, and health assessments. Trump himself mentioned to the press on Air Force One, while traveling to Japan, that he had received an MRI.

โ€œWe had an MRI, the whole setup, and it was perfect. No one has seen reports like the one I gave you. If I even suspected negative results, youโ€™d know about it, because I wouldn’t run. But according to the doctors, my results were among the best theyโ€™ve seen at this age,โ€ Trump remarked.

There have been claims by several doctors suggesting Trump might be withholding details about the MRI and might not know which part of his body was scanned. Recently, another expert has voiced their opinion about Trumpโ€™s health, shedding light on some alarming insights.

Renowned Psychologist Discusses Concerning Findings

In a conversation on The Daily Beast Podcast, Dr. John Gartner, a respected psychologist, therapist, activist, and former professor at Johns Hopkins, argued that Trumpโ€™s increasingly unpredictable behavior likely indicates a personality disorder that is being intensified by dementia.

โ€œDementia, as it progresses, makes individuals the worst versions of themselves,โ€ stated Dr. Gartner during the podcast appearance.

The psychologist previously noted signs in the 79-year-old president that might be indicative of dementia, like verbal missteps, frequent confusion, and memory lapses. Dr. Gartner believes that these symptoms have worsened due to Trumpโ€™s underlying issues with โ€œmalignant narcissism.โ€

โ€œPeople with dementia may see their personality issues deteriorate, becoming more crude, disorganized, aggressive, and confused, intensifying the existing disorder,โ€ Gartner explained.

Observations Related to Physical Movements

Dr. Gartner also cited observations of Trump which could suggest โ€œpsychomotor deterioration.โ€ He referred to an event on Veterans Day, where Trump allegedly had trouble saluting.

โ€œHe seems to struggle with raising his hand to salute,โ€ Gartner mentioned on the podcast. โ€œThis, along with other signs, could point to dementia or a stroke, possibly affecting the right side of his body, where he appears to have some facial droop and a distinctive way of walking, swinging one leg. These could be indicators of underlying health issues.โ€
