Vice President JD Vance and his wife, Usha Vance, are excitedly sharing that they are expecting their fourth child. However, not everyone has reacted positively to their joyous news.

JD and Usha first crossed paths during their college days and have been united ever since. Together, they have raised three children, all while choosing to keep the family largely away from the public eye to protect their privacy.
The Vances became parents for the first time in June 2017 when their son, Ewan, was welcomed into the world. They found out early on that they were having a boy, as Usha humorously pointed out JD’s impatience: โWe found out right away because JD, there was no way he could wait.โ
JD expressed his eagerness, adding, โI wanted to know at like, nine weeks but apparently thatโs not physically impossible.โ

A few years later, in February 2020, the Vances welcomed their second son, Vivek. The family grew again in December 2021 with the arrival of their daughter, Mirabel, who they affectionately referred to as an โearly Christmas presentโ on social media.
Both JD and Usha have clearly communicated their commitment to family life. Just before JD was chosen by Donald Trump as a vice-presidential candidate, he shared: โI love being a dad and Usha loves being a mom, and I think we love doing that together. And thatโs not going to change, whether Trump picks me to be vice president or not.โ
Usha echoed these sentiments by highlighting their shared values, especially when it comes to parenting and family matters. โThere are a lot of things that we just agree on, especially when it comes to family life and how to raise our kids. And so I think the answer really is we just talk a lot.โ

On Tuesday, it was announced that they are thrilled to be expecting their fourth child, a baby boy due in late July. The couple shared their enthusiasm on Instagram, expressing gratitude for the excellent care provided by military doctors and support from staff as they balance their roles.
Though many well-wishers have shared their congratulations, such as, โCongratulations on the Vice President Vanceโs growing familyโ and โGod bless them! Congrats!โ, some less supportive comments have also surfaced.
Unfortunately, not all reactions were kind. A few users posted dismissive responses, like a GIF of President Trump shaking his head, captioning it, โNobody cares.โ Others made unnecessary references to rumors, adding, โHowโs Erika handling the news?โ
Some comments showed a lack of empathy, with someone writing, โI feel sorry for all those kids,โ and another stating cynically, โJust what the world needs.โ
While these comments reflect differing opinions, itโs essential to cherish the happiness of a growing family. Feel free to share your thoughts in the comments, especially if youโve ever experienced similar situations and how it affected you.
