Elvis Presley Co-Star Passed Away At Age 90

Yvonne Lime, an actress who appeared in films alongside Elvis Presley and Katharine Hepburn, has died. She was 90.

Lime passed away on Friday, according toย Childhelp, the national nonprofit organization she co-founded to support abused, neglected, and at-risk children, perย TMZ. While her cause of death has not been disclosed, the organization said she โ€œpassed away peacefully.โ€

Yvonne Lime was born on April 7, 1935, and raised in Glendale, California, where her mother worked as a music teacher. She trained as an actress at the Pasadena Playhouse before breaking into Hollywood, beginning her career at a young age. Lime quickly established herself as a working actress, building a steady presence in film and television throughout the 1950s and early 1960s.

Her first movie role came in 1956 withย The Rainmaker, starring Katharine Hepburn and Burt Lancaster. The following year, she appeared in the cult classicย I Was a Teenage Werewolf, playing the girlfriend of Michael Landon. In 1957, Lime co-starred opposite Elvis Presley inย Loving You. During production, the two briefly dated, and Presley even invited her to spend Easter weekend with him at Graceland in 1957.

In 1969, Lime married television producer Don Fedderson. After stepping away from acting, she took on a major role behind the scenes, eventually serving as president and CEO of Don Fedderson Productions. In that position, she oversaw and managed rights to several iconic television properties, including The Betty White ShowFamily Affair, and My Three Sons.

While her acting career brought her public recognition, Limeโ€™s most enduring legacy came later in life through her humanitarian work. She was a co-founder of Childhelp, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to the prevention and treatment of child abuse and neglect. The organization provides services ranging from advocacy and education to therapeutic care for abused, neglected, and at-risk children and their families.

Kathie Lee Gifford and John Stamos, who both serve as celebrity ambassadors for Childhelp, paid tribute to Fedderson, according to Theย Hollywood Reporter.

โ€œOur precious Yvonne lived a life overflowing with extraordinary purpose and grace,โ€ said Gifford. โ€œHer beautiful smile lit up every room, but it was her hurting heart for children that truly illuminated the world. She believed in the depths of her soul in hope and healing, and Godโ€™s promise always wins. I am forever grateful to have known her and loved her as my treasured friend. Our loss is heavenโ€™s gain.โ€
