Donald Trump Reacts to Trevor Noah’s Grammy Remarks

During the recent Grammy Awards, Trevor Noah, serving as the host, cracked a few jokes at former President Donald Trump’s expense. One quip, in particular, seems to have really agitated Trump.
Noah, before revealing the winner for Song of the Year, humorously referred to Trump’s prior comments about wanting Greenland. He then tied this to Trump’s past association with the controversial Jeffrey Epstein. Noah joked that winning the award was almost as coveted as Trumpโs pursuit of Greenland, insinuating that, with Epstein’s island no longer available, Trump is looking for a new getaway.
Reactions and Denials

Former President Bill Clinton has consistently denied any involvement with Epstein’s wrongdoings, although they knew each other before Epstein’s demise. Ghislaine Maxwell has also mentioned that Clinton was her friend, not Epstein’s, and that he had no part in Epstein’s illegal activities.
Trump, too, has distanced himself from Epstein, asserting that he severed ties long before Epstein’s actions came to light.
Nevertheless, Trevor Noah’s humorous remarks seem to have ruffled Trump’s feathers. He has hinted at potential legal actions against Noah as a result.
Trump’s Response and Potential Legal Action
On Truth Social, Trump’s own platform, he lambasted the Grammys and Noah specifically, using his characteristic style of critique that he often directs towards entertainment figures. Trump’s post described the awards show as “virtually unwatchable” and belittled Noah compared to other late-night presenters.
He strongly refuted Noah’s joke, proclaiming he never visited Epsteinโs infamous island and was never accused of it before. Describing the comments as unfounded and damaging, he warned Noah to “get his facts straight.” He even mentioned involving his legal team in pursuing potential defamation claims against the comedian.
In conclusion, Trump made it clear that this could become a legal battle, hinting he might enjoy the process.
