When Donald Trump’s children got together for a family photo, it was Barron’s towering height that caught everyone’s attention, bringing to light the president’s past remarks about his son.
Ivanka Trump, aged 44, shared the group photo on social media on February 24th, which quickly garnered attention for one striking detail: Barron’s impressive height.
Standing with two of his older half-siblings from Trump’s first marriage to the late Ivana Trump, namely Donald Jr., aged 48, and Ivanka, Barron notably outshone them in terms of height.
Absent from the image was Eric, also a son from Trump and Ivana, who is 42 years old.
Present with Barron was his other half-sister Tiffany, aged 32, whose mother is Marla Maples. Marla was Donald Trump’s second wife following a brief marriage during his first nuptials.
Also featured in the picture were Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s husband and a former advisor to Trump, Bettina Anderson, Donald Jr.’s girlfriend, and Michael Boulos, Tiffany’s husband.
Barron stood remarkably taller than the rest, an attribute he didn’t inherit from his mother and Trump’s current wife, Melania Trump, who doesn’t boast the same towering genes.
According to information from the Palm Beach Post, Barron’s height is estimated to be between 6’7” and 6’9”, surpassing that of his father.
A Tall Family
While Donald Trump stands at 6’3″, his wife Melania, aged 55, measures a respectable 5’11” in height.
The family photo was taken on February 24th when Trump’s children attended his State of the Union address, which marked the longest in history at one hour and 47 minutes.
Barron’s astounding height did not go unnoticed, with social media users exclaiming: “Barron is 12 foot tall.”
One individual remarked, “Yo they don’t make XXXXXL ties. He’s so damn tall. Unreal!”
Another added with humor, “Barron is an absolute unit.”

At the presidential campaign headquarters in Des Moines, Iowa, Trump revealed that while Barron was at home “watching on TV,” he reminisced about his son’s childhood, highlighting that he grew up eating his grandmother’s cooking exclusively.
Melania’s Mother’s Influence
The grandmother Trump refers to is Melania’s late mother, Amalija Knavs.
Trump expressed, “Great people, great parents to all of us, really. Great parents, but also to Barron. Boy, did she take care of Barron?”
He also added humorously, “That’s how he got so tall, he only ate her food. I said you’re gonna be a basketball player. He said, well ‘I like soccer dad’, actually. I thought… at your height I like basketball better, but you can’t talk them into everything.”
Despite these suggestions, Barron wasn’t destined to tread the basketball courts.
Melania Trump shared her own thoughts on their son in an interview with FOX Business Network’s Mornings With Maria: “He’s an incredible young man, and we are very proud of him. This time it’s very different because he’s 19 years old, and the first time he was 10 years old. He understands politics, he gives advice to his father, we talk about it, so it’s very different.”
