A tearful farewell is being given to ‘1000-Lb. Sisters’ Tammy Slaton

A tearful farewell is being given to Tammy Slaton as she prepares for the operation which will help her lose weight.

After achieving her desired level of weight loss, the 36-year-old participant in the reality show 1000-Lb. Sisters are shown in an exclusive clip from the episode that will air on Tuesday on PEOPLE. Tammy is greeted by her family as she exits the rehabilitation facility, and they cheer her on as she prepares for the important event.

“I worry about Tammy quite a bit. In the operating room, everything might go wrong “Amy Slaton explains. “It’s impossible for me to imagine my existence without my sister.”

In the video, when Tammy leaves the facility, she is taken aback to see that her loved ones have gathered outside with joyful posters and confetti. A banner that read “Happy Holidays!” was hung by the family “Tammy, you are the queen! You carried out the abominable deed, “And she did confess that the kind gesture was going to bring tears to her eyes.

“They prepared a poster for me to read in which each person who was present to honor me had written a few words on the poster. I mean, b—s this is about me at the end of the day because I’m the queen, and I’m just saying that “Tammy says while laughing it off.

Before she left, Tammy also had the opportunity to finally meet her nephew Glenn, who was born after her sister Amy gave birth to her second child.

“You will now get the opportunity to pet the adorable bear. It is what motivates me to keep going, “she says. “After I get back to my house, I have babysitting duties for both Gage and Glenn. They are destined to become Aunt TT’s sons.”

Tammy stated that if it weren’t for the encouragement and support of her family, she never would have been able to accomplish her objectives regarding weight loss.

“I am extremely grateful to each and every one of you for attending. I was dependent on them. I needed reassurance that their love for me is unchanging no matter what, “she remarked just prior to breaking down into tears. “I required reassurance that they are always there for me. They have love for me. That was one of the most important factors that helped me to persevere and reach the point where I am now.”
