Sometimes itโs easy to think that celebrities live an easy, glamorous life, but thatโs not always the case. In fact, sometimes the projects they work on are anything but glamorous and are actually very dangerous.
Denise Richards recently competed on the celebrity reality competition show โSpecial Forces Season 3.โ She told SiriusXMโs Jeff Lewis Live that she signed her โlife awayโ in order to compete on the show, and she told PEOPLE that her daughters were scared for her and didnโt want her to compete on the reality show.

Richards explained that her daughters โdid not want me to do it. They were afraid I was going to get hurt or get killed, and they were actually really angry.โ She added, โIt was the first time of all the times Iโve done different projects or traveled they were very upset with me.โ
They probably had good reason to be worried. Richards describes herself as โnot athletic at all.โ
So why did she agree to do the project anyway? She said, โI thought, โThis is the most challenging thing Iโll ever do, and why not do it?โ I was terrified, but once I made the commitment to do it, I was there.โ

While Richards survived, she did suffer one big tragedy during filming. She joined her husband Aaron Phypers on โJeff Lewis Liveโ and explained that during one challenge when she jumped off a bridge the harness she was wearing ruptured both of her breast implants.
She added, โI still have to get them redone.โ She explained, โI was supposed to a month ago but couldnโt because we were filming, so yeah, no, I still have to get them redone.โ
She also added that she thinks sheโll have to pay to get them redone herself. Insurance doesnโt cover it, and she assumes that the show wonโt cover it, but her husband added, โMaybe we can work that in after the fact.โ
