Actress Lindsey Pearlman’s Cause of Death Revealed

Actress Lindsey Pearlman, known for her roles in popular shows like “Empire,” “General Hospital,” and “Chicago Justice,” tragically passed away at the age of 43. Her friends and colleagues remembered her as a hardworking, talented, and hilarious person.

Pearlman went missing on February 13, 2022, and was reported as missing when she didn’t return home. The Los Angeles Police Department sought the public’s help in finding her. Unfortunately, she was eventually found, but she had already passed away.

On February 18th, Pearlman’s body was discovered in a vehicle near the famous Runyon Canyon hiking trail in Los Angeles. The LAPD confirmed her identity as Lindsey Erin Pearlman and stated that the cause of death would be determined by the coroner.

Her husband, Vance Smith, shared the heartbreaking news on Instagram, saying, “The police found Lindsey. She’s gone. I’m broken.”

Following her death, an autopsy was conducted to determine the cause. However, the initial information was not immediately available, and her cause of death was said to be “deferred, pending additional investigation.”

Months later, the official cause of Lindsey Pearlman’s death was revealed. The coroner’s investigation determined that her death was a result of suicide. The report indicated the presence of non-toxic levels of lorazepam, metoclopramide, and codeine in her body, with sodium nitrite toxicity identified as the cause.
