On Friday, the weather anchor for the Today show, who is 68 years old, posted a series of images to Instagram of him decorating his Christmas tree while at home with his family, which includes his wife Deborah Roberts, who is 62 years old, and their children, daughter Leila, 24, and son Nick, 20.
Before posing for a picture as a group, Roker and his family can be seen in the photographs beaming as they decorate their Christmas tree with ornaments.
It was captioned with, “So glad to be well enough to decorate the Roker Family #christmastree,” and he expressed his gratitude for being able to participate.
Roker announced on his Instagram account at the beginning of this month that he had returned home after being readmitted to the hospital as a result of chronic health difficulties.
During that time, he uploaded a picture to social media that showed him standing in the kitchen of the home he shared with his wife and children.

PEOPLE confirmed that Roker was sent back to the hospital in an emergency just one day after he was released from the facility on Thanksgiving. This happened earlier this month.
