Comedian Amy Schumer has offered a cryptic look at her marriage to Chris Fischer as divorce rumors continue to swirl.
In a newย Instagramย post, the 44-year-old stand-up star opened up about her weight loss journey and her 45-year-old husbandโs autism diagnosisโwhile also hinting at the current state of their relationship.
Schumer shared a message on her Instagram Stories, with the text layered over a video of their six-year-old son giving a tour of his parentsโ bedroom. She wrote: โWhatever ends up happening with me and Chris has nothing to do with weight loss or autism. โโFingers crossed we make it through. Heโs the best.โ

Schumer intensified the divorce speculation on Monday when she shared a photo of herself sitting on a staircase in a yellow dressโwith no wedding ring in sight. The next day, an anonymous source toldย Page Sixย that she and Fischer are moving toward a โconscious uncoupling,โ claiming the two have struggled for a long time and are now focused on creating the best co-parenting plan for their son.
Schumer and Fischer married in 2018, and he was diagnosed with autism the following year. Just last month, a representative for Schumer toldย Peopleย that the couple remains committed to their marriage but is quietly working through the kinds of challenges long-term couples often face. In the rest of her lengthy caption, Schumer also addressed her weight loss and overall health.
โI didnโt lose 30 lbs, I lost 50,โ she revealed in her same post, โNot to look hot, which does feel fun and temporary,โ but to โsurvive.โ

โI had a disease that makes your face extremely puffy, that can kill you,โ
Schumer also addressed her recent weight loss. She told followers she has undergone plastic surgery in the past and currently uses Mounjaro as part of her regimen. Last year, the comedian revealed she has Cushing syndrome.
According to theย Mayo Clinic, Cushing syndrome occurs when the body is exposed to high levels of cortisol for an extended period. This can happen either because the body produces too much cortisol on its own or because a person takes glucocorticoid medications that act like cortisol.
Excess cortisol leads to several hallmark symptoms, including weight gain around the midsection, a rounder โmoonโ face, and a fatty hump between the shoulders. People may also see pink or purple stretch marks on the skin, high blood pressure, bone loss, or even develop type 2 diabetes.
Treatment focuses on reducing cortisol levels and can greatly improve symptoms, especially when started early.
Common symptoms include:
- Weight gain in the trunk with thinner arms and legs
- Weight gain in the face
- A fatty hump between the shoulders
- Pink or purple stretch marks on the abdomen, hips, thighs, breasts, or underarms
- Fragile skin that bruises easily
- Slow healing
- Acne
