Sahar Tabar, real name Fatemeh Khishvand, is a young Iranian woman. She made a name for herself by undergoing multiple plastic procedures in an attempt to resemble Angelina Jolie, a Hollywood actress.
Tabar’s change, which includes surgeries such as liposuction and nose contouring, aroused internet debate and criticism. She was dubbed “Iran’s Zombie Angelina Jolie” and condemned to ten years in prison.

Tabar, who is 19 years old, has reportedly undergone more than 50 surgeries. All in an effort to improve her beauty. She may not have stated that she aspired to look like Angelina Jolie, but her fans certainly did. And she flaunted her new look by uploading photos of herself on social media with drastically altered features.
She had thin cheekbones with sharp features, plumped and angular lips, and a noticeably different nose. However, it is unknown how many of these surgeries were truly carried out, as some have speculated that the images were substantially manipulated or possibly digitally altered.
Zombie Angelina Jolie built a name for herself on social media by publishing images of her unusual appearance. At one point, Sahar’s Instagram had nearly four million followers. Her handle was @sahartabar official, but it was removed.
Her mother had not approved of her social media use, let alone the disturbing photographs of her resembling Angelina Jolie’s zombie. But, according to Sahara, she desired fame. So she persisted. “Cyberspace was a convenient option,” she explained. “It was a lot simpler than becoming an actress.”
Apparently, this is not her true appearance.
“Every time I share a photo, I paint my face in an increasingly weird style,” Sahar remarked in an interview with the Russian website Sputnik. It is a form of self-expression, a type of art. My admirers are aware that this is not my true face”.
“I didn’t even think about being like Jolie,” she added. I also didn’t want to look like the cartoon figure the Corpse Bride. Now I realize I have something to do with them, but I am a muse, and remembering someone is not an end in itself.”
As a result, her fans and everybody who has seen her story have been left in a state of bewilderment. In the month of October 2019, the Zombie Angelina Jolie was detained for allegedly profane Instagram photos.
She was also accused of illegally purchasing property, inciting violence, negatively influencing youngsters, making money through unethical means, and violating the country’s rigorous dress code for women.
She was condemned to ten years in prison, a lengthy term for a young woman. Not only that, but she was imprisoned at Qarchak. Which is well-known for being the worst prison for women.
Masih Alinejad, an Iranian activist, learned about Angelina Jolie’s Zombie lawsuit and took to social media to share her thoughts. “Sahar Tabar is only 19 years old. Her joke got her arrested. Every day, her mother begs for the release of her innocent daughter. Angelina Jolie, we need your opinion. Please assist us.”
Sahar was freed from prison after 14 months. This was stated in light of the death of Mahsa Amini, who was recently arrested and beaten by Iranian authorities for incorrectly wearing her hijab.
