Angus Cloud’s Heartbreaking Post Before His Death

The acting world was dealt a huge blow on Monday as Angus Cloud, Fezco from the HBO series ‘Euphoria’ starring Zendaya, passed away.

The 25-year-old actor died of a possible overdose, with it widely reported that Angus had a history of mental health problems and that he was known for his addictions.

According to US website TMZ, an overdose could have been triggered by the death of his father, which occurred a week earlier.

The fact that he had to go through the pain of burring his father may have led to the young actor’s demise.

The statement about Angus Cloud’s death
“It is with the heaviest heart that we had to say goodbye to an incredible human today,” read a statement released by the performer’s family.

“As an artist, a friend, a brother, and a son, Angus was special to all of us in so many ways.

“Last week he buried his father and intensely struggled with this loss.

“The only comfort we have is knowing Angus is now reunited with his dad, who was his best friend.

“Angus was open about his battle with mental health, and we hope that his passing can be a reminder to others that they are not alone and should not fight this on their own in silence.

“We hope the world remembers him for his humor, laughter, and love for everyone.

“We ask for privacy at this time as we are still processing this devastating loss.”

Angus Cloud’s father’s death was a major setback
As the actor’s family said, Cloud was struggling “intensely” with the loss of his father, whose cause of death is unknown.

He was buried in Ireland a few days before the death of the ‘Euphoria’ actor.

In fact, his father’s death caused him to struggle with a very serious mental breakdown.

“Angus had been battling severe suicidal thoughts after getting back from Ireland, where Angus and his family laid his father to rest,” a source close to the family told ET.

“Angus was staying with his family as he tried to work through overcoming the grief.”

On July 14, Cloud took to his social media to send a message to his late father.

The actor shared an image of his father dressed in red, smiling, and added the caption “miss you”.

Angus considered him to be his best friend and, when he began his acting career, he was one of his constant companions.
