Patrick Mahomes’ father has been arrested again.
According to TMZ, this is at least the third time Patrick Mahomes Sr. has been arrested for a DWI.
As TMZ reports, the elder Mahomes was arrested on Saturday night in Texas. He is reportedly still incarcerated at the moment but is expected to make bail later today.
This is at least Mahomes third DWI arrest, TMZ reports. The 53-year-old was arrested “in 2019 for DWI second or more,” and was sentenced to 40 days in jail.
Mahomes Sr. is often seen rooting on his son from the luxury box. Now it is unclear how this arrest will affect his ability to see his son play in his fourth Super Bowl, which is set to take place on February 11.
