Britney Spears Says She Was Pregnant With Justin Timberlake’s Baby

Pop star Britney Spears has a new memoir coming out called “The Woman in Me,” and the book contains quite a few details about her private life that she’s sharing for the very first time. One of the big secrets she’s sharing for the first time has to do with Justin Timberlake.

Spears and Timberlake first met when they were cast members on “The Mickey Mouse Club.” Then they both launched to stardom, Spears with her solo career and Timberlake as part of the group NSYNC. While they looked like the perfect couple to the public eye, Spears claims that wasn’t entirely true.

In her memoir, Spears shares that she found out Timberlake cheated on her, but that’s not what broke them up. She chose to forgive him. Then, she drops another bombshell.

Spears shares that she found out she was pregnant with Timberlake’s child, and he wasn’t happy about it, partly because he believed they weren’t old enough to be parents.

In the end, Spears and Timberlake mutually decided that Spears would have an abortion, but that had a lot to do with Timberlake’s feelings. Spears claims that if it hadn’t been for Timberlake’s feelings about the pregnancy, she would have kept the baby.

CBS News correspondent Jamie Yuccas has read all of the memoir, and in a word, Yuccas describes it as “heartbreaking,” sharing that Spears reveals a lot of details about her life that even fans and journalists didn’t know until now.

Timberlake has been married to actress Jessica Biel since 2012, and they have two sons together. Meanwhile, Spears is also a mother to two sons with her ex-husband Kevin Federline.
