Subsequently, Charles expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support. He shared, “I would like to express my most heartfelt thanks for the many messages of support and good wishes I have received in recent days.”

Despite this, King Charles faces heartache due to the absence of Harry and Meghan. Their absence means he sees little of his grandchildren, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet, a fact that undeniably pains him. As commentator Ingrid Seward noted, “It doesn’t mean he doesn’t want to see his grandchildren.” It appears Charles deeply yearns to spend time with them.
