After HGTV shared another sneak peek of its new show “The Flip Off,” featuring Christina Haack, Tarek El Moussa, and Heather Rae El Moussa, Josh Hall responded.
The sneak peak starts off with Hall saying, “This is a competition. You got to pull out all the stops, whatever it takes to win. I’ll do it. Halls rule.”
Haack, who is sitting in the passenger seat, seems less than enthused as Hall continued. “You’re supposed to say it with me,” Hall told Haack. “Or repeat. Or something that shows you’re with me.”
“Remember you’re a Hall now,” he added. “Don’t get confused in this competition about what your last name is.”
As Haack refused to acknowledge him, Hall calls her “rude” and that’s when Haack says, “I just don’t over talk.”
“You know all the (expletive) you say and I’m just like, ‘I’d wish you’d shut up already,’” Hall responded. “My wife’s pissing me off already.”
On his Instagram Story, Hall called HGTV out.
“[That feeling when] you can’t get enough ratings with celebrity [house] designers, so you rely on manufactured drama with me, a nobody. HGTV, you’ve changed,” he wrote.
Haack responded to Hall’s post, writing, “Manfufactured?! Pretty sure no one at HGTV told you to be rude to me. That was all natural.”
She then shared a selfie she took of herself on June 21, 2024. The photo showed Haack in tears.
“This was taken June 21, 2024. After one of my shoots with Josh,” she continued. “This is ‘real’ and a reminder to myself that I deserve better.”
Haack and Hall separated and filed for divorce after two years of marriage in July.
Haack later took to her Instagram feed to talk about “Karma restoration.”
“Some things I’ve learned (and yes I am still a work in progress… healing is not linear) … awareness of past patterns, not ignoring my intuition & gut instincts, slowing the f down, talking to my friends vs being embarrassed and not talking to anyone as well as not being afraid to have the hard conversations. This year I will be doing the work with my life coach to break the cycle, taking the kids & myself on some amazing adventures and focusing on a few new projects while making sure they are all done with passion,” she wrote.
“The Flip Off” is set to premiere Jan. 29 on HGTV.
