Chumlee from Pawn Stars was arrested and faces many years in prison.

According to multiple sources, Austin Lee Russell, better known to fans as Chumlee, informed a judge on Monday that he would accept a plea deal on charges including drugs and firearms coming from a March police raid on his Las Vegas residence.

Russell will submit a guilty plea to one count of attempted possession of a controlled substance, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal. A second felony weapon charge will be upheld as part of the plea arrangement.

Russell must surrender the firearms and drugs found on his property, as well as serve three years of probation and attend treatment.

Police said they seized 12 firearms, a plastic bag containing marijuana, and a small quantity of methamphetamine during Russell’s arrest on March 9.

Among the weaponry recovered were reportedly handguns, rifles, and an assault-style MP5. Police were at Russell’s house because they were investigating a sexual assault. He was released on bail after posting $62,000 and was not charged in the sexual assault case.

According to Fox News, if Russell, 33, remains trouble-free, the criminal prosecution against him will be withdrawn. If he does not, he faces two to five years in state prison.

Russell is set to return to court to file his pleas.

In addition, his home had Xanax prescription pills, according to investigators.

Russell’s attorney, David Chesnoff, says the reality star is eager to put the matter behind him.

Chesnoff says in a statement, “We will be reviewing what was allegedly found and whether the alleged search was lawful in a courtroom, not in public.” Austin and I both have faith in the legal system and are optimistic that the issue will be settled properly.

Russell was known for throwing crazy parties.

“He smokes a lot of pot and has a gun,” one source alleged.

Despite the History Channel’s refusal to comment, the network that airs Pawn Stars said last week that “for the time being, they are just letting the court system play out.”
