Trump seemed optimistic about using the bill’s success in upcoming midterm election campaigns as a tool to gain support.

In addition to the military upgrades, Trump promised crackdowns on illegal immigration and a focus on reducing wasteful government spending.

“With this bill, every major promise I made to the people of Iowa in 2024 became a promise kept,” he concluded, underscoring his commitment to the initiatives outlined in the bill.
