People Express Outrage Over Trump’s Display in Front of European Leaders
Donald Trump, known for being a polarizing figure, has once again stirred up discussions with his recent behavior, which many found โnauseatingly embarrassing.โ

Recently, the 79-year-old Republican faced criticism due to an incident involving US troops and Russian President Vladimir Putin during a summit on August 15. Soon after, Trump’s actions in front of European leaders became the center of another outcry.
During a White House visit by French President Emmanuel Macron and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on August 18, Trump proudly displayed his collection of hats. These hats, adorned with his well-known slogans like โGULF OF AMERICAโ, โTRUMP WAS RIGHT ABOUT EVERYTHINGโ, โMAKE AMERICA GREAT AGAINโ, and the controversial โTRUMP 2028โ, caught significant attention.

The display was shared online by a White House official, quickly garnering criticism for what many deemed โchildishโ conduct.
Comments flooded social media. One user remarked, “What an embarrassing joke.” Another person criticized it as a “total embarrassment,” and several others echoed similar sentiments, questioning the seriousness of the act.
Comparisons were drawn to childlike behavior, with one comment likening it to “a kid showing his toys to his friends,” while another noted, “Child showing his room to visitors.”
One commentator expressed, โThese people must just laugh and laugh when they walk away from Trump. Canโt wait till this national shame is over.โ
Highlighting his knack for merchandise, another pointed out, โPolitics aside, that man moves merch.โ

In addition to hats, Trump has ventured into selling various items, including homeware, skincare, watches, clothing, and more. Yet, the โTrump 2028โ hats stand out due to their contentious nature.
The hat, priced at $50 on the Trump Store, is accompanied by a โTrump 2028 Shirtโ for $36. The product description hails the hat as the latest trend, with a proud โMade in Americaโ label and an embroidered design featuring the American flag.

This particular piece of merchandise sparked debate on social media, as it suggests Trumpโs ambition to run for a third term, which would be unconstitutional.
The prospect of Trump hypothetically serving as the 48th President in 2028, at 82 years old, clashes with the legal limitations set by the Constitution.
The 22nd Amendment clearly states: โNo person shall be elected to the office of the President more than twice, and no person who has held the office of President, or acted as President for more than two years of a term to which some other person was elected President shall be elected to the office of the President more than once.โ
