Trump’s Health Update from Latest White House Medical
The White House has recently shared the results from President Donald Trump’s latest medical examination, confirming that he continues to enjoy excellent health.

According to Capt. Sean Barbabella, the White House physician, Trump’s active lifestyle is a major factor contributing to his strong health profile. His involvement in public events, meetings, and press conferences supports his well-being significantly. Dr. Barbabella also highlighted Trump’s frequent participation and success in golf as a positive influence on his health.
The physician concluded that Trump demonstrates outstanding cognitive and physical health, enabling him to perform his presidential duties with full capacity and vigor.

During Trump’s medical examination at Walter Reed Hospital, held just last Friday, the 78-year-old president underwent a comprehensive health check. Compared to a previous exam in 2023 where details were sparse, this visit was more extensive.
Back in June 2020, during his last annual physical as President, Trump’s weight was recorded at 244 pounds with a blood pressure of 121 over 79. In the recent exam, his weight was measured at 224 pounds and his blood pressure at 128 over 74, showing notable improvements.
Neurological and Physical Examination Findings

The examination also included a thorough neurological assessment, which showed no abnormalities in Trump’s mental status. Aside from some scarring on his right ear due to a gunshot wound from the assassination attempt in July 2024, no major issues were found.
Trump had also undergone a colonoscopy in July 2024, which identified diverticulosis and a benign polyp, but these conditions were not of significant concern.
The release of this health information follows assurances from the White House press secretary that details would be shared promptly.
At 78 years old, Trump is officially the oldest individual to assume the U.S. presidency. Although three years younger than Joe Biden, Trump was older than Biden at the time of both inaugurations by five months, thus setting a record for being the oldest president sworn into office.
Reflections on Health Amidst Political Tenure

President Trump commented, “I have never felt better, but nevertheless, these things must be done,” referring to the examinations’ necessities to ensure his capability to lead.
Though Trump spent over five hours at the medical center, the precise duration of his examinations was not disclosed.
Over recent years, Trump has often criticized his predecessor, Joe Biden, regarding Biden’s health and mental acuity.
Insights from Previous Health Assessments
In 2023, coinciding with Biden’s 81st birthday, Trump’s team released an assessment from Dr. Bruce A. Aronwald, affirming Trump’s ‘excellent’ health both physically and mentally. This document did not specify exact numbers but assured that all Trump’s exam results were sound, giving special mention to his weight reduction.
“I can confirm the president is in very good shape,” commented press secretary Karoline Leavitt regarding the latest testing. Furthermore, it was clarified Trump did not undergo anesthesia for any part of this checkup.
In 2018, a prior White House physician advised Trump on the importance of weight loss and daily exercise, directives that appear to have positively impacted his current health status.
Despite past scrutiny over Trump’s dietary habits, including his fondness for KFC and Diet Coke, this latest health update paints a picture of a capable and healthy leader.
