The actor has been quoted as saying that his mother was in a car accident late last night and is currently seeking medical treatment in the city of Los Angeles.

The former professional wrestler who went by the ring name “The Rock” shared the most recent information regarding the health of his mother, Ata Johnson, in a post that he made on his Instagram account. In addition to that, he uploaded a picture to the website that displayed the front end of the vehicle which had sustained significant damage.

“Praise be to God, it seems as though she will be fine. My mother was in a car accident late last night, and I believe that there were angels of mercy looking out for her as she was being transported to the hospital. He assured me that she would survive this and that she would continue to be evaluated.

“This woman has fought her way through lung cancer, a difficult marriage, a head-on collision with a driver who was impaired, and an attempt to take her own life. She has triumphed over adversity in a manner that demonstrates the reality of angels and miracles.

Additionally, the actor conveyed his appreciation to the individuals who serve in the police and fire departments.

“Thank you for your concern and attention to detail, Los Angeles Police Department and Los Angeles Fire Department. He expressed his gratitude by stating, “I appreciate you staying on the phone with me and walking me through everything.”
