Elvis ex who raised Lisa Marie Presley at Graceland breaks the silence

Linda Thompson, who was the primary girlfriend of Elvis Presley after Priscilla Presley and who helped The King raise his daughter Lisa Marie Presley at Graceland, has expressed how devastated she is by Lisa Marie Presley’s passing. Additionally, the 72-year-old has shared a number of heartwarming family images that feature the three of them in the same frame.

In 1972, after Elvis Presley had been separated from Priscilla Presley and eventually divorced her, he started a relationship with Linda Thompson, who was 22 at the time. The former Miss Tennessee model relocated to Graceland and spent the next four years residing there with King Elvis Presley.

During this time period, the celebrity’s only child, Lisa Marie Presley, would reside in Los Angeles with her mother Priscilla. However, for the duration of the holiday season, she would travel to Memphis to spend time with her father and his lover. On Thursday, Lisa passed away unexpectedly at the age of 54. Her mother, Linda, expressed how devastated she was on Instagram.

After news of Lisa Marie suffering a heart arrest and being sent to hospital, Linda released a number of gorgeous images of her with Elvis and his daughter from back in the mid-1970s. There’s even a cute one of her opening Christmas presents with the King at Graceland, which you can find there.

It was reported by her mother Priscilla that the 54-year-old passed away last night, and Elvis’ former girlfriend has responded with another message.

Priscilla issued the following statement after receiving the tragic news that her daughter Lisa Marie had passed away: “It is with a heavy heart that I must deliver the devastating news that my beautiful daughter Lisa Marie has left us.” She was the most fervent, powerful, and loving lady I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. As we struggle to come to terms with the magnitude of this loss, we respectfully request privacy.

When Linda posted a picture of Elvis kissing the head of Lisa when she was a child, she simply commented, “My heart is too heavy for words…” and followed it up with an emoji of a broken heart and a face with tears rolling down its cheeks.
