Everyone’s Saying The Same Thing About The Half Time Show

Rihanna, the award-winning Barbadian singer, songwriter, actress and businesswoman, has confirmed that she is expecting her second child with her partner, rapper-producer A$AP Rocky.

The confirmation came after speculation and rumors spread following her incredible performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show on February 12th, 2023.

Fans were amazed by Rihanna’s medley of iconic hits from her discography, but they couldn’t help but wonder whether the Fenty brand owner was indeed pregnant.

However, after the show, her representatives confirmed the news to The Hollywood Reporter. The singer and her partner already welcomed their first child, a baby boy, into the world last May.

Despite the birth of her son, Rihanna felt inspired by motherhood to perform at the highly anticipated halftime show

In her words, “When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything.

And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all. It’s important for my son to see that.”

Rihanna admitted that squeezing all of her hits into a 13-minute set was going to be a challenge, and she had to think hard about which anthems out of her 18-year-long discography would make the cut.

“The setlist was the biggest challenge. That was the hardest part —deciding how to maximize 13 minutes, but also celebrate. That’s what the show’s going to be — it’s going to be a celebration of my catalog in the best way,” she said.

“I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down.” The final setlist covered a wide range of Rihanna’s songs, including “B***h Better Have My Money”, “Where Have You Been”, “Only Girl”, “We Found Love”, “Rude Boy”, “Work”, “Wild Thoughts”, “Birthday Cake/ Pour It Up”, “All of the Lights”, “Run This Town”, “Umbrella” and “Diamonds”.

Rihanna’s performance at the Super Bowl Halftime Show was a remarkable and unforgettable moment, not only because of her powerful vocals and electrifying stage presence but also because of the confirmation of her second pregnancy.

The singer’s fans are over the moon with the news and can’t wait to see what’s in store for her and her growing family.
