Goldie Hawn’s heartbreaking health update brings fans to tears.

After making a courageous admission about her struggle with anxiety and depression, Goldie Hawn was praised as a “inspiration” by her fans and followers.

The star of Overboard discussed her mental health in an honest video that was released to advertise her participation at an upcoming event for her MindUP organization. In the film, she admitted that there was a period in her life when, despite her success, she was not “particularly happy.”

In a discussion about her aspiration to lead a “I wanted to go home, get married, run a dancing school, be happy, and have children – I wanted a normal life and it’s not exactly what I was receiving,” Goldie remarked. “I wanted a normal life.”

“My acting career took off like a rocket, and I ended up winning an Academy Award. I would walk back into my dressing room and lie down, and despite the fact that it sounded like a beautiful idea, I was really freaked out about this anxiousness coming over me again.”

She went on to say that “I literally and completely lost my ability to grin. Despite the fact that I had dedicated my life to pursuing happiness, I did not find much of it in my life.”

Goldie admitted that she had sought professional assistance in order to overcome the difficulties she was having with her mental health “Because I felt that I wanted to have a better understanding of what was going on in my head, I made the decision to consult a psychologist.

“After a year had passed, I started to come back into myself, but believe me when I say that I know what it is like to be depressed, and I know what it is like to be nervous.”

The actress was swamped with messages of encouragement from her devoted following, with some even disclosing that Goldie’s heartfelt commentary moved them to tears.
