Hearts Break for the Roloff Family, Things Aren’t Going Well For Them

A new season of Little People, Big World has arrived, and it’s leaving fans heartbroken for the Roloff family. The recently released trailer, shared by Amy Roloff, gives us a deeper look into the dynamics between the exes, Amy and Matt, and their new partners. We also get to see how Zach and Tori Roloff are coping as parents of three. Unfortunately, as the trailer reveals, the Roloff family is no longer the tight-knit unit they once were.

When Zach was asked about his father’s engagement to Caryn, he preferred not to be involved in the conversation. In fact, it seems that Zach, Tori, and the kids rarely visit the family farm anymore. “We don’t see Zach and Tori that often. I think they must have made some kind of pact not to come to the farm,” Matt shared. Amy’s husband, Chris, adds, “They don’t come over anymore.” These statements leave us with a feeling of sadness and separation.

Caryn, Matt’s fiancee, expresses her feelings of being cut off, to which Amy responds with a question, “You have a choice, how long do you leave it broken? Is there a way to help heal it?” Zach chimes in, stating that the family hasn’t always been their priority. It seems as though a once-close family bond has been broken, and the members are struggling to find a way to mend it.

Almost a year ago, Matt Roloff surprised his fans with some incredible news! In an exclusive statement to People, Matt revealed that he and his longtime partner, Caryn Chandler, are engaged to be married. Matt and Caryn began dating in 2017.

“After six wonderful years together, I asked Caryn to marry me and she said yes!” Matt joyfully announced. “Our plan is to enjoy our engagement, and we are looking forward to a simple but elegant wedding in 2024.” Matt and Caryn’s journey to this point has been marked by their own separate paths after divorcing their respective spouses.

Amy also found love with her now-husband, Chris, in 2021. Despite the initial difficulties of their divorce, Amy, Matt, and their new partners have managed to maintain a friendly relationship. In fact, they even went on a double date at the farm to kick off pumpkin season last fall.

Caryn and Matt have chosen to move part-time to Arizona, away from the family farm. They are currently building a second home together, documenting the process on Instagram. Matt expresses his excitement for this new chapter in his life and encourages others to find joy in building things. Despite the negativity from detractors, Matt remains enthusiastic and happy about what’s ahead.

While Matt’s children have yet to publicly congratulate their father and Caryn, we hope they find their own way to show their support. Here’s to the happiness and upcoming marriage of this soon-to-be betrothed couple.
