According to Express, Paul Danan’s passing comes just six months after he revealed a harrowing experience in which he had to be resuscitated following respiratory failure caused by his vaping addiction. In June 2024, the actor collapsed at his parents’ home and was rushed to Whipps Cross Hospital in East London, where he spent a week in intensive care and contracted pneumonia.

Danan openly shared that his health issues stemmed from a long history of smoking. During his hospital stay, doctors warned his family that he might not survive the night. Reflecting on the ordeal at the time, he described it as a miracle that he had survived, admitting that he had effectively “died” before being revived.
