How she was caught shortly after the passing of her mother

After Lisa Marie Presley passed away suddenly in January, her loved ones shared a lot of heartwarming memories with the public. She was described as “the most passionate, strong, and loving lady I have ever known” by her mother, Priscilla Presley, in a statement to People. Her fourth husband, Michael Lockwood, said that “nothing prepared us for such an unexpected catastrophe.” Lockwood, who has twin daughters named Harper and Finley with the “Lights Out” singer, further stated, “We are all reeling.”

After posting the final photo she ever took with her mother on social media, Riley Keough, Lisa Marie Presley’s daughter with her first husband Danny Keough, delivered an emotional eulogy at her mother’s burial service. Ben Smith-Peterson, Riley’s spouse, read Riley’s eulogy, which concluded with the words “Thank you for being my mother in this life.”

I’m confident that I made the best mother-child match possible, and I’ve known that about you for as long as I can remember. In the eulogy, the star even mentioned that she had just given birth to a newborn girl, adding, “I hope I can love my daughter the way you loved me.” The love Riley has for her mother over the years has been well documented. She expressed her inspiration for being “raised by somebody who did their own thing and didn’t really care what other people thought” to People in December 2022.

It’s lovely to see the “Daisy Jones & The Six” star all smiles recently on social media in the wake of her family’s most recent sad tragedy.

Riley Keough made her platform debut on February 15 and debuted in her first-ever TikTok video, which featured an upbeat and healthy Riley. Sam Claflin and “Daisy Jones & The Six” co-star Daisy Jones fell over each other as they said, “Hi, TikTok,” before again breaking out in laughter.

Keough plays the title character in the upcoming miniseries on Amazon Prime, which is based on the same-named Taylor Jenkins Reid book. Reese Witherspoon serves as executive producer. The fictional miniseries will chronicle the exploits of the band who has the same name as they negotiate the musical scene in 1970s Los Angeles in search of international fame.

Keough also has a lot to be happy about in her private life. The actress and her husband, Ben Smith-Peterson, had a daughter sometime in 2022, as was first announced in her eulogy at mother Lisa Marie Presley’s memorial (the rough timing of which was confirmed by a rep for the couple). Smith-Peterson revealed in a touching 2021 Instagram post that Keough and Smith-Peterson unexpectedly married in Nepal eight years ago.

Locals learned that the two were engaged while they were building schools in the area as part of a goodwill mission and surprised them by throwing a Hindu wedding. “Because it was too chilly to shower, we hadn’t showered in a week, Keough jokingly observed, adding, “I promised to spend 7 lifetimes with you… I’m not sure about it; we’ll see how this one turns out.”
