Influencer With 11 Million Followers Survives Life-Threatening Fall
Caleb Coffee, a popular influencer with a massive following of over 11 million on TikTok and more than 1 million on Instagram, recently found himself in a life-threatening situation. Known for his adventurous and high-energy content, Coffee is now counting his blessings after a harrowing accident.
On August 17, 2023, Coffee’s family shared the tragic news that he had been hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) after a fall. While hiking with three friends in Hawaii, Coffee slipped and tumbled off a 60-80ft cliff onto lava rock, sustaining multiple injuries. His family set up a GoFundMe page to support his medical expenses and shared that Coffee had suffered a spinal fracture, a broken femur, elbow, wrist, and numerous cuts and burns all over his body. Remarkably, Coffee survived and the doctors deemed him “lucky to be alive.”
Hours after his parents started the GoFundMe campaign, Coffee mustered the strength to post a TikTok video from his hospital bed. Grateful for the outpouring of support, both in prayers and donations, Coffee expressed his gratitude to everyone and thanked God for preserving his life. He admitted that he genuinely believed he was going to die, making his survival even more miraculous. Coffee also shared the relieving news that his spine and neck were intact, bringing a sense of immense relief.
To aid with Coffee’s hefty medical bills, his family initiated the GoFundMe campaign, as he does not have any medical insurance. As of now, they have raised $17,000 towards their $100,000 goal. They humbly stated, “We cannot afford these medical bills.”
