John Travolta overwhelmed with grief makes the announcement

One of the celebrities mourning the loss of Kirstie Alley, an Emmy-winning actress who passed away on Monday after being recently diagnosed with cancer, is John Travolta.

Travolta described his regular co-star Kirstie as “one of the most special connections I’ve ever had” on Instagram. “Kirstie, you are loved. I am confident that we shall cross paths again.

Bruce Willis played the voice of the child they ended up raising together in 1989’s Look Who’s Talking, a comedy written and directed by Amy Heckerling (Fast Times at Ridgemont High, Clueless) about a single mother who meets and falls in love with a cab driver (Travolta).

As a result of the film’s unexpected success, Travolta’s career was revived, and Alley’s transition from Cheers’ sitcom star to cinematic star was made possible. Along with two sequels, Look Who’s Talking Too and Look Who’s Talking Now, it also gave rise to the short-lived sitcom Baby Talk, which starred Tony Danza as the baby’s voice.

Travolta also made appearances in episodes of Kirstie Alley’s Big Life (2010), Fat Actress (2005), and most recently, Kirstie (2005), a TV Land sitcom starring Alley.

“We are heartbroken to inform you that our incredible, strong, and loving mother has passed away after a fight with cancer,” said Alley’s children True and Lillie Parker in a post on the actress’ social media pages.

She was surrounded by her closest family and fought valiantly, leaving us with no doubt about her unending joy of life and whatever adventures lay ahead, the statement read. She was a legendary actress, but she was an even better mother and grandma.

Alley revealed, “I almost ran off and married John,” when speaking about her longtime friend and fellow Scientologist Travolta on Celebrity Big Brother U.K. in 2018. I did and still do love him. If I weren’t already married, I would have traveled by airline to marry him since he owns a jet.

As his Grease co-star Olivia Newton-John passed away in August, Travolta has now had to write a tribute for one of his leading ladies twice this year.

Newton-John also lost his battle with cancer and Travolta wrote of her, “My lovely Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better.” “Your influence was tremendous. I adore you a lot. When we are all back together, we will see each other again. From the first minute I saw you, you were all mine.
