Kate Middleton warned about recovering at home – reason why “it’s not an ideal” place revealed

Prince William, Kate Middleton, and their three children have been residing at Adelaide Cottage since August 2022. However, for the past two weeks, Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis have been at home without their mother.

Kate recently underwent abdominal surgery, leaving royal fans in shock. Although the surgery went well, a royal expert has issued a warning about her decision to recover at home.

On January 17, Kensington Palace announced that Kate Middleton would undergo abdominal surgery. All her royal duties were put on hold as planned. For the past two weeks, she has been staying at The London Clinic, under the watchful eyes of doctors, to ensure her recovery progresses smoothly. Prince William has visited her every day, but the children reportedly haven’t seen her in person due to their school and other activities. However, they have managed to stay in touch through Facetime.

Finally, on Monday, January 29, the good news came that Kate would leave The London Clinic and reunite with her family at their Windsor home. According to a statement from Kensington Palace, Kate is making good progress and will continue to recover at home.

She will not be returning to her royal duties until after Easter. The palace expressed gratitude to the nursing staff at The London Clinic and the well-wishers from around the world.

When Kate returns to Adelaide Cottage, her family will provide extra support during her recovery. Her parents, Michael and Carole, as well as her siblings, Pippa Matthews and James, live nearby and will help in any way they can.

The Middleton family has always been close-knit, and they have been rallying around Kate during this time. The royal expert, Sarah Hewson, described them as a “tight-knit family” and highlighted their willingness to assist during Kate’s recovery.

Adelaide Cottage, the royal residence where Kate and William currently live, has a rich history. Built in 1831 for Queen Adelaide, the wife of King William IV, it has been a popular retreat for many monarchs. Even Queen Victoria used to have breakfast or tea at Adelaide Cottage.

Before moving in, the cottage underwent extensive renovation. However, William and Kate chose this modest home in Windsor because it offers a more rural and peaceful environment for their children compared to the bustling Kensington Palace.

While Adelaide Cottage may be a comforting place for Kate to recover with her family close by, royal correspondent Michael Cole raises concerns about its suitability for her health. He shares that a former tenant described it as the coldest place she had ever encountered. Cole cautions that the cold temperatures, particularly during the winter, may hinder Kate’s recovery. Nevertheless, Kate’s parents’ larger house in Berkshire is nearby, and they will continue to support her throughout her recovery.

As Kate returns home to a warm and supportive environment, Prince William will take on the role of caring for his beloved wife while juggling his royal duties and driving the children to school.

Grant Harrold, Charles’ former butler, assures that William is a caring and loving person who will ensure that Kate receives the best care possible. He believes that Kate’s return will bring a sense of normalcy to the family, and William will help her get back on her feet.

While Kate’s decision to recover at home has its challenges, the love and support from her family, along with William’s caregiving, will undoubtedly aid in her recovery. Let us all wish Kate a speedy recovery!
