King Charles is in shock

Captain Ian Farquhar has died. He was a close friend of the king. He was 78 years old.

Ian knew the King and Queen Camilla for a very long time. He had also worked as a rider for the Queen Mother.

He could hunt and ride a horse very well, and he was also in the Queen’s Own Hussars.

The King already has cancer, so this is another blow to him. It was last week that Lord Rothschild died. He was 87 years old.

Ian’s daughter Rose Farquhar was with Prince William in 2000, when he was taking a break from school. A picnic in the Gloucestershire countryside was fun for them.

Ian had been renting a farmhouse on King’s Highgrove in Gloucestershire for a very long time.

Stephen Parker Bowles, who was married to King Charles II’s first wife, told the Daily Mail that Ian had been very sick.

Andy told them early Wednesday morning that Ian had died at Highgrove.

He said, “As wild as a hawk when he was young, but always a lot of fun.”

He said that people would remember Ian as “one of the great Master of Hounds.”

For 34 years, Ian was Master of the Beaufort Hunt.

The Beaufort Hunt wrote this on Instagram to honor its old master.

The hunt said, “It breaks our hearts to think about the family and friends of our own Captain Ian Farquhar.” He was a pleasure to have as our pilot for 34 years. This week, he died in peace.

Many people who went hunting loved and looked up to him as “Captain.” He was nice, willing to help, and always ready to give people great new ideas.

“He was funny, and people who were lucky enough to be with him and hear about his exciting and unique life as a hunter and in the army will always remember those times.”

Captain loved his family, his dogs, and his hounds. We know that up there, a whole pack of dogs will be waiting for him, excited to see him again.

“He was a gentleman and loved his country.” He will be missed a lot.
