Leah Remini, a former Scientologist, and actor, revealed last fall that her only child, Sofia Bella Pagan, had just started college. Unfortunately, the “King of Queens” actor found this accomplishment to be very challenging. The most agonizingly difficult and proudest event of my life has been bringing our only child to college for the first time, Remini posted on Instagram.
Never in my life have I sobbed so much. It is the toughest thing I have ever done, and I still torture myself with the thought that I might have pushed my daughter toward going to college when I was too old for it. Remini added that she and her spouse didn’t want to raise their children alone.
After Pagan attended her senior prom early in the year, Remini expressed a similar attitude.
Sofia’s senior prom was last night, Remini wrote on Instagram (via Today). “The senior year is full of great achievements, but for parents, wondering how time passed so quickly doesn’t make it any less sad. Angelo and I are so proud of the woman Sofia is growing into. But I need this procedure to pause. Remini regrettably no longer has that option thanks to Pagan’s recent decisions, which makes her melancholy.
So, first the good news. In reality, Leah Remini did get to spend a little more time with Sofia Bella Pagan. Pagan decided to return home after finding it difficult to fit in at the school she had selected, as Remini disclosed in a recent Instagram post, giving her and her husband “a few more months to have her home.” Pagan, though, has made the decision to try college once more.
Remini stated, “We relocated her into an apartment a few weeks ago when she began classes at another University. Even though you’d think it would be simpler the second time around, Angelo and I are currently in a worse state.
The “Second Act” actor also disclosed that she and her husband are “going through what parents like us go through” while Pagan adjusts to first-year student concerns. We’re crying and unsure of what to do with ourselves besides crying more while seeing photos and videos.
Remini is fortunate to have a strong group of people surrounding her. She can rely on her sister in addition to her husband. Pagan’s dorm room was decorated by Remini’s sister after Pagan took her first swing at college.
Remini posted on Instagram, “My sister @nicole b remini flew up from Arizona to help me relocate my kid into college.” “I can’t even begin to tell you how much it means to me that my sister did this for her niece and me,” she said.
