However, Prince William’s birthday does not usually involve such ceremonies. During the solemn Remembrance Sunday event in London, Kate and Sophie, the Duchess of Edinburgh, were seen together on one of the balconies.

Body language expert Nicola Hickling observed a rather lighthearted discussion between the two duchesses regarding William’s beard. According to Hickling, as quoted in “The Sun”, Sophie supposedly queried Kate, “What, you like a beard?”, to which Kate humorously replied, “I find it quite rousing.”

The comical interaction carried on with Sophie chuckling, “You’re all better now,” and prompted a round of laughter from Kate as well.

The Royal Scruff Drawing Attention

Kate Middleton was not alone in her admiration for her husband’s facial hair. People on online platforms also expressed their delight.

One comment read, “William with a tan and a beard!!!!”
