Madonna Seen For The First Time Since Announcing Tour Update Following Health Scare

Following Madonna’s recent health scare that necessitated an emergency hospital admission, the singer announced on her socials that her Celebration tour would continue as she assured fans that she was okay. Recently, the pop icon looked healthier while cruising in New York’s Upper East Side.

The 64-year-old singer was out for a walk in a black top and Madame X Spectral shorts from her line. Madonna also had her hair braided and partly tucked in a Spiritually Hungry cap while she walked in Nike trainers. She had a patterned scarf on her neck and dark sunglasses to complete the athletic look.

Madonna’s tour was set to celebrate her 40th year in music; however, the event had to be rescheduled due to her health challenges. She noted in her post that she was “on the road to recovery.” She then proceeded to disclose her plans for the rest of the tour.

“The current plan is to reschedule the North American leg of the tour and to begin in October in Europe. I couldn’t be more grateful for your care and support. Love, M,” she wrote, concluding her post. She also thanked her fans for their “positive energy, prayers, words of healing and encouragement” in the post, assuring them of her comeback.

Updates on Madonna’s Celebration tour

The “Material Girl” singer’s condition was first disclosed by her manager, Guy Oseary, in a statement, indicating that she developed a “serious bacterial infection.”  “A full recovery is expected. At this time, we will need to pause all commitments, which includes the tour,” he added.

Now that the star appears stronger, the tour should be back in motion as fans await specific updates. “Thank you again for your incredible support and patience over these past few weeks! I’m happy to report that the re-routed tour schedule will be coming in the next few days!” she wrote in anticipation of getting back on the road soon.
