Melania Refutes Rumors About Barron Trump’s College Admissions

Melania Trump has always been devoted to supporting and protecting her son, Barron. Recently, whispers circulated about Barron’s educational journey, prompting Melania to set the record straight.

Last autumn, Barron took a significant step by leaving Palm Beach, Florida, to head back to New York City, where he enrolled at Stern Business School, part of New York University. This came after some deliberation, as Donald Trump previously mentioned that they had explored several educational options for Barron. However, rumors have been circulating that challenge this narrative.

With Barron returning to his hometown, the 18-year-old found himself at Stern Business School at New York University, which has a reputation as one of the premier business schools in the United States. Only 5% of applicants typically gain admission to this prestigious institution’s undergraduate program.

Donald Trump shared with The Daily Mail that Barron had considered the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School but ultimately decided on furthering his education in New York.

“It’s a highly regarded school,” Donald expressed. “Barron appreciated it, and so did we, having known about NYU’s standing for a long time. Though we had considered Wharton, we chose Stern. Barron is exceptionally talented, and he’s now transitioning into adulthood with great success.”

Barron Trump’s College Life

As with his high school experience in Palm Beach, much of Barron’s college life remains under wraps. Melania opened up a little in December about how Barron’s college days differ from those of other students.

“He can’t experience college like a typical student,” Melania told Fox News. “His experience is quite unique but he’s a strong individual aware of his distinctive situation.”

Being the son of a former U.S. President and a notable real estate mogul, Barron faces unique challenges. Security details accompany him wherever he goes, which understandably affects his social interactions.

Though his college life might be unconventional, it’s still hoped that Barron can forge lifelong friendships. He has reportedly taken an unusual approach to making new friends, with online gaming serving as one avenue. According to TMZ, Barron connects with peers on the platform Discord, engaging in gaming sessions.

His love for soccer translates into his online gaming habits, frequently playing EA Sports FC 25, a popular soccer video game.

Rumors of Barron Trump’s Rejection from Harvard

There’s also been talk about Barron’s popularity, with a People Magazine source claiming that he has caught the attention of several girls. “He’s thriving at Stern,” they noted. “He’s quite the ladies’ man, tall, and handsome, attracting admirers everywhere, even among those who are typically on the opposite side politically.”

Despite the limited public knowledge about his academic performance, Barron’s applications to some of the nation’s top schools speak volumes about his high school success. Yet, online rumors alleged that Barron faced rejection from Harvard, Columbia, and Stanford.

The fact-checking organization Snopes examined these assertions, determining they found no evidence to confirm the claims of Barron being turned away by these prestigious institutions.

Melania Addresses and Dispels the Rumors

Melania Trump, determined to end the speculation, made it clear through her spokesperson that such rumors have no basis in truth.

Nick Clemens, representing the Office of the First Lady, emphasized, “Any statements claiming that Barron applied to Harvard or any communication to that effect is utterly false.”

Interestingly, Harvard has been a target of critique from Donald Trump, with accusations of not adequately protecting Jewish students and claims of harboring anti-Semitic sentiments. He has voiced concerns regarding the influx of international students, escalating tensions with legal actions underway.
