At 78 years old, former President Donald Trump is renowned not just for his political history but also for his fondness towards a diet more typical of a younger individual. He has often been seen enjoying fast food, including McDonald’s, while aboard Air Force One, and reportedly consumes up to 12 Diet Cokes a day.

In stark contrast, his wife, Melania Trump, opts for a much more health-conscious and balanced diet. Her daily food intake consists largely of fresh, organic ingredients, and she makes it a goal to include at least seven servings of fruit per day.

Melania also practices portion control, indulging in less healthy options like ice cream or dark chocolate only occasionally.

Melania’s Everyday Healthy Breakfast Smoothie

Melania shared with her supporters on Facebook a smoothie recipe she credits for being ‘delicious and healthy.’ This smoothie is part of her daily routine, comprising ingredients such as spinach, carrots, blueberries, celery, apple, orange juice, lemon juice, fat-free yogurt, olive oil, flax seeds, omega-3, and vitamin D.

The components of her smoothie provide an array of health benefits. Spinach and blueberries are rich in antioxidants, which are essential for protecting cells from damage by free radicals and reducing inflammation. Carrots also contribute valuable fiber, vitamin A, and potassium.

Flaxseeds in the smoothie are a source of omega-3 fatty acids, supporting cell function across the body and adding extra antioxidants and fiber. While adding olive oil might seem unusual, it contains helpful antioxidants and offers anti-inflammatory properties to the mix.

This regimen is a far cry from the dietary habits of her husband, who at times has opted to serve fast food during formal events. In 2019, President Trump offered fast food during the White House celebration for the North Dakota State Bison college football team, famously stating, “We could have had chefs, but we got fast food because I know you people very well.”

Melania’s smoothie recipe has, however, struck a chord with her audience, garnering praise and adoption. One enthusiastic Facebook user commented, “Thank you so much; It won’t make me as beautiful as you, but I hope it will help some.”
