Melania Trump Shares Her Wellness and Nutrition Insights

Once again, Donald and Melania Trump are gearing up for another visit to the White House. However, this time around, Melania seems to have plans to split her time between Palm Beach and New York, where their son, Barron, attends college, rather than dedicating all her time to the nation’s capital.

It seems that Melania has had a full plate, especially since she wasn’t often seen alongside Donald during his recent presidential campaign. The former model from Slovenia recently released her memoir, “Melania,” in October, which rapidly became a bestseller on the New York Times list.

As she prepares to reprise her role as First Lady, Melania is aware that it comes with a fair amount of stress. She understands the importance of taking care of her mental and physical health, especially amidst the whirlwind of her husband’s political life.

Their abstinence from alcohol is well-known. Both Melania and Donald follow a plan to protect their mental well-being. It seems clear that they are poised to return to the White House following an election victory.

Their departure from the White House in 2020 was rather unconventional; they chose not to welcome Joe and Jill Biden, leaving behind a bit of a scandal. How the Trumps will be welcomed back remains a question as the Bidens prepare to exit in January.

Rumors have circulated that Melania Trump wasn’t keen on a White House return. Previously, she expressed sentiments of being done with national politics, but later she appeared open to the idea. Although the White House will be their official residence once again, Melania may not be an everyday or even weekly attendee in Washington.

Sources from People Magazine suggest it’s “unlikely” she’ll take up full-time residence at the White House. An insider noted that while everyone expects Melania to assume her duties as First Lady, she does not intend to settle into the traditional role at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue permanently.

She will alternate her presence among her New York residence, the Mar-a-Lago property in Palm Beach, and occasionally at the White House, according to the same source.

Despite her public discussions about her modeling career, details about Melania’s dietary habits and how she stays lean aren’t widely known. In a GQ interview, her former roommate, Matthew Atanian, mentioned that she ate seven pieces of fruit each day. Melania met Donald in 1998 at a New York City event, and their relationship flourished from there.

They tied the knot in 2005, and since then, their relationship has remained strong. Meeting Donald brought various changes to Melania’s life, altering more than just her personal life. It also had an impact on her dietary choices, influenced by a family history with tragic undertones.

Donald and Melania made the choice to abstain from alcohol due to the struggles of Donald’s older brother, Freddy, with alcoholism. Freddy was a commercial pilot until his career was halted due to his issues, and he died in 1981 at the age of 43 from a heart attack.

In a 2016 interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Donald referred to Freddy as his greatest teacher and biggest tragedy. Freddy was admired for being a warm and fun-loving person. However, his struggle with smoking and drinking, reportedly consuming four packs a day, led to his downfall.

Freddy’s words served as a caution: “Look at the mess I’m in,” he would say. “If I catch you smoking or drinking, you’ll regret it.” Donald took these lessons to heart and proudly stated he has never smoked or had a drink, owing much to his brother’s influence. Freddy’s legacy lived on, profoundly affecting their life choices.
