Nanny Faye Chrisley has provided an update on her bladder cancer battle.

An update on Nanny Faye Chrisley’s bladder cancer struggle is provided.

Despite undergoing cancer treatments, the 79-year-old said she is in excellent spirits during an appearance on Savannah Chrisley’s Unlocked podcast.

“You don’t always have a nice hand of cards to play with, but you do your best. “You get up, groom yourself, and go,” she explains. “I go to bed and get up early. It provides you luck, knowledge, and good health.”

Savannah gushed over her grandmother, who is battling cancer, referring to her as a “champ.” “She’d receive her chemo, be ill the next day, and then she’d be in the car driving to the casino,” she explained.

The Growing Up Chrisley star, 25, claimed it must have been difficult for Nanny Faye to live without Todd and Julie Chrisley, who were sentenced to prison for tax wrongdoing.

“To be honest, everyone knows mom and dad were your primary carers,” Savannah remarked before Nanny Faye admitted it’s been “very difficult.”

“My wonderful daughter-in-law was with me at every single treatment [for her bladder cancer],” she revealed. “She has always been by my side.”

Todd, 53, first revealed his mother’s diagnosis on his Chrisley Confessions podcast in June 2022.

He revealed that she was diagnosed in the fall of 2021 and that she planned to keep her battle hidden. “My mother has bladder cancer, and she is now getting therapy, and we have been dealing with that treatment on a regular basis,” he explained.

Todd pleaded with the public to be respectful of the woman’s age and the fact that she was fighting for her life. “I pray to God every day for her healing. We are not unlike anyone else because we all experience difficulties.”

Although the Chrisleys haven’t said much about Nanny Faye’s condition, bladder cancer is most common in the elderly. The American Cancer Society reports that nine out of ten bladder cancer patients are over 55.
