55-year-old legendary singer Celine Dion’s sister, Claudette Dion, recently shared new update about her stiff person syndrome.
“It’s an illness we know so little about. There are spasms — they’re impossible to control…There’s little we can do to support her, to alleviate her pain.” She said.
Under her announcement in social media millions of people prayed and wished well for her.
“Praying for a recovery for Celine. I saw her yrs ago in Vegas. What a beautiful show I cried..she is awesome !!!” wrote a fan of her.
In the beginnig of this year, Celine announced that she, unfortunately, had to cancel her tour again, which she cancelled back in 2022 too.
“…I’m so sorry to disappoint all of you once again. I’m working really hard to build back my strength, but touring can be very difficult even when you’re 100%…it’s best that we cancel everything now until I’m really ready to be back on stage again…” she announced.
“…unfortunately, these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life. Sometimes causing difficulties when I walk and not allowing me to use my vocal cords to sing the way I’m used to.” She added.
Her sister recently shared how Celine’s rehab is looking.
She stated that Celine is staying strong, and fighting against her disorder to recover fully and turn back to the stages, where she belongs to.
