Will Levis reportedly paid an “exorbitant” amount of money to remove an intimate video featuring him and his former college girlfriend from the internet after his personal device was allegedly hacked by an Eastern European cybercrime group, according to his mother, Beth, per the New York Post.
During an appearance on the “Ross Tucker Football Podcast” on Monday, Beth recalled receiving a phone call from her son after the explicit video surfaced online in May 2024. She said the Tennessee Titans quarterback repeatedly apologized as the clip quickly spread across social media.

“As soon as he started talking my heart immediately sank. … I ended up pulling over and come to find out that my son had just found out a couple hours [before] he discovered that there was a very intimate video of he and his ex girlfriend that had gone viral all over social media platforms. The first words out of Will’s mouth were, ‘I’m so sorry, mom,’ and it just broke my heart,” Beth revealed.

“Will actually ended up engaging in hiring a cyber security specialist and spent an exorbitant amount of money to try to get to the bottom of this, and through that try to scrape — it’s amazing that you can do this, it’s crazy these people are even available — what they could to ultimately make this go away. And ultimately a lot of the content was taken down, but you can never scrape anything entirely from the internet, it’s there forever, there is a footprint unfortunately.”

“We did find out that actually this content was stolen and his private either laptop or digital platform/phone was actually breached and invaded a year or two earlier when he was in college,” Beth explained. “And we come to find out this was an Eastern European hacking group that is notorious for trying to target what they think might be an attractive couple they can then expose and do what they do for attention.
“We actually came to terms with that, at least we knew where it came from. It wasn’t something malicious from who knows, somebody else.”
Beth denied speculation that the intimate video was leaked by either Will Levis or his former girlfriend, though she did not identify the woman by name. Levis previously dated influencer Gia Duddy during their time at Kentucky and Penn State. Duddy gained national attention while supporting Levis at the 2023 NFL Draft, when he unexpectedly slid out of the first round. The couple later split in October 2023, according to Barstool Sports’ “Pardon My Take” podcast.
Appearing on the podcast during Mental Health Awareness Month, Beth said the ordeal ultimately inspired a new direction for her lifestyle brand, Chill Life. She explained that the experience pushed her to focus more heavily on the importance of disconnecting from devices and building healthier real-life relationships. Beth said she wanted to use the painful situation as an example of how constant digital exposure can negatively impact people’s lives and mental well-being.
